High and low notifications

Updated June 17, 2026

Glynce can show high, low, and rapid-change notifications based on the thresholds you set. They run on your device and are meant to give you a heads up.

How to set them

  1. Open Glynce, go to your profile, then Settings.
  2. Find notifications and set your high, low, and rate-of-change thresholds.

An important limit

These notifications are informational. They depend on Glynce running and on data arriving through the cloud, which can be delayed. They are not a safety alarm.

Keep the alarms in your CGM's official app switched on. Those are designed to alert you while your phone is locked or Glynce is closed, and they are what you rely on for safety.
