Share Glynce Plus with your family
Updated July 1, 2026
Yes. One Glynce Plus subscription can cover your whole family through Apple Family Sharing, at no extra cost. This is helpful when a parent manages Plus and wants their child who lives with type 1 diabetes to have it too. You pay once, and everyone in your family group gets Plus.
How it works
Apple Family Sharing lets one person's subscriptions be shared with the other people in their family group, up to five others. When Family Sharing is on, each of them gets Glynce Plus without buying it again. There is no separate family price, it is the same single subscription shared across your group.
Set it up
- On the Apple ID that bought Plus, open the iOS Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Family Sharing and make sure your family group is set up with subscription sharing turned on.
- Each family member signs in to Glynce with their own account. Plus unlocks for them automatically.
If Plus does not appear for a family member right away, have them open Glynce and tap Restore Purchases on the Plus screen. See Restoring a purchase.
Your data stays private
Family Sharing shares the subscription, not your health data. Each person keeps their own Glynce account, and their glucose and food stay on their own device. A parent does not see their child's readings through Family Sharing, and a child does not see the parent's. Following someone's glucose in real time is a separate thing, and it is not what Family Sharing does.
Billing stays with the family organizer's Apple ID. If the organizer cancels Plus, it ends for the whole family at the end of the period already paid for.
