How Apple Health data is protected

Updated June 29, 2026

Apple Health keeps your health data locked behind permissions you grant on your own device. Glynce can only read the specific data you allow, and nothing else.

How the permission works

  • You choose exactly which data types Glynce may read, such as glucose.
  • You can change or revoke that permission at any time in the Health app.
  • Glynce cannot see anything in Health you have not granted.

Changing what Glynce can read

Open the Health app, go to your profile, then Apps, and choose Glynce to review or change its access.

Revoking the glucose permission stops Glynce reading from Health. If your readings come only through Health, that also stops new data appearing.
